Join us for a (work) party on Friday, November 3 from 3 - 5 pm at the Burley Farms barn in Epping, NH to celebrate the launch of our Stewardship Tool Library, a joint effort by UNH Cooperative Extension's Stewardship Network and Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire. These tools are available for FREE loan to volunteers, community members, and organizations to help get work done on our region's trails and natural areas. We've got everything you need for trail work, invasive plant pulls, native plantings, trash clean ups, and more!
At this event, we'll show you what tools are available, how to use them, how to sign them out (using a new online system), and even test them out by tackling a few projects on the Burley Farms property. Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for outdoor work. Light refreshments will be served. Please pre-register so we can plan accordingly.
The Stewardship Tool Library is located in the barn at SELT's Burley Farms in Epping, NH.
The library offers many speciality tools for stewardship projects, like trail maintenance or invasive plant removal.
We have safety equipment and supplies for working with volunteers.
Special thanks to Phil Auger, UNH Cooperative Extension staff, our intern, Morgan (pictured, above), and all the volunteers who helped prep the new tools and get our library ready for action!
