Bugs In Our Backyard (or “BioB“) is a citizen science program for students and teachers in grades K-12, but is also available to anyone interested in getting involved.

Activities and coverage of topics in the life sciences are connected to on-going research on a charismatic native insect, the red-shouldered soapberry bug, Jadera haematoloma. Curricula are free, and help connect students (and anyone who is interested) to the diversity in your own backyard.
