Summer Intern Stories - 2014

In 2014, we had several UNH undergraduates working with the Stewardship Network: New England as summer interns. It was great to have their energy and enthusiasm!

Joanna "Jo" Lewis was the 2014 UNH Extension Stewardship Network Fellow, a collaborative internship to help increase stewardship capacity of partner organizations. Jo worked with five different conservation organizations, located in the Southeast NH Hub region, on stewardship and science projects. She posted her reflections and photos of her work here throughout the summer of 2014:

Lisa Demaine was the 2014 Communities and Citizen Science Intern this summer, working with Coastal Research Volunteers and the Stewardship Network: New England. She researched citizen science projects and literature, helping create a volunteer opportunity hub online, and worked in the field with volunteers. She's an environmental sciences major at UNH with a hydrology focus. Lisa's internship was part of the NH EPSCoR program and the New England Sustainability Consortium.  Thanks, Lisa!
